Chapter 74. [Unlawfully slaughtering livestock.]

1. I also saw the souls of those who remained tied, head downwards, by one leg; (2) and a knife was driven into their hearts. 3. And I asked thus: 'Who are these souls?' 4. Srosh the pious, and Adar the angel, said (5) thus: 'These are the souls of those wicked, by whom, in the world, beasts, cattle and sheep were unlawfully slaughtered and killed.'
