Terms of Use
The terms, plainly.
Effective date: July 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of the The Old Ways iOS app and the websitetheoldways.co (together, “the Service”), operated by Just See It All. By downloading the app or using the site, you agree to these terms.
The app is a one-time purchase
The Old Ways is sold through the Apple App Store as a single, one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. All payments, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms — we never receive or store your payment details. Your purchase is also governed by Apple’s standardLicensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to all App Store apps.
What the Service is for
The Old Ways is an educational and cultural resource for the study of historical polytheist and pagan religions — Norse, Hellenic (Greek), Kemetic (Egyptian), Celtic, and Zoroastrian. Its texts are drawn from public-domain primary sources and cited. The rituals, calendars, and reference material are provided for learning, personal reflection, and cultural interest. Nothing in the Service is professional, medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
The content
- The source texts in the library are public-domain works, free to read, quote, and share. We claim no ownership over them.
- The original material — the site’s design, written framing, summaries, glossary entries, and software — belongs to Just See It All. You may quote and link to it with attribution; please don’t republish it wholesale or present it as your own.
- We aim for accuracy and cite our sources, but scholarship on ancient religion is a living field. The Service is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, and we do not guarantee that every statement is complete or free of error.
Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and respectfully. Don’t attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or misuse the site, and don’t use the material to harass, defraud, or harm others.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just See It All is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. The Service is a reference and study tool; you are responsible for how you act on what you read.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes appear on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
