Chapter 82. [Sharp tongue]

tr. Martin Haug and E. W. West (1872)

1. Then I saw the soul of a certain woman whose tongue was plucked out [Doubtful; it may mean 'whose tongues were many.']. 2. And I asked thus: 'What sin was committed by this woman?' 3. Srosh the pious, and Adar the angel, said (4) thus: 'This is the soul of that wicked woman whose tongue, in the world, was sharp; (5) and her husband and master was much troubled by her tongue.'
