On Greed

Battiscombe Gunn, 1906

Be not greedy in the division of property; covet not more than falls to thy share. Be not greedy toward thy relations; the mild man has more claim to respect than the harsh one. He is poor who drives away his kin; the rich man is he whose heart is content with what he has.
