On Human Nature

Battiscombe Gunn, 1906

Injure not a man who is kind, nor one who is faithful, nor one who makes offering at the altar, for God knows the excellent man and punishes the cruel. Revere the excellent man; do wrong to the cruel one. Protect the weak against the strong, and God will love thee for it.
