Chapter 92. [Kept back benefits.]

tr. Martin Haug and E. W. West (1872)

1. Then I saw the souls of those, into whose eye a wooden peg was driven. 2. And I asked thus: 'What sin was committed by the body of these, whose soul suffers so severe a punishment?' 3. Srosh the pious, and Adar the angel, said (4) thus: 'These are the souls of those malicious ones who kept back benefits from mankind.'
