What Laguz means
Laguz is the rune of water in all its forms: the lake, the sea, the waterfall, and the deep well. Water was central to Norse cosmology, from the primordial wells beneath Yggdrasil to the vast ocean surrounding Midgard. Laguz represents the flow of life, the power of intuition, and the depths of the unconscious mind. In Heathen practice, this rune connects to the vital force of water, the emotions and dreams that guide us beneath the surface of rational thought. It counsels the practitioner to trust the flow, honor intuition, and draw wisdom from the deep wells within.
